In Mr Bink's Furniture Design class students are making a bread storage container that they have designed themselves. Following a safety hand tool session, students will use both power tools and hand tools to create their containers.

In Mr Robertson science class, students were given an amount of time to make a small creation. They were then asked to write instructions on how to make their item. Students then swapped instructions and attempted to remake the item. This was done with varied success, some items were sort of close, some nowhere near and the rocket made by Jordan was exact!

Year 11 Biology group discussed the osmosis practical activity.

.....and Year 7s (below) learnt about the Bunsen Burner

Year 12 Biology students simulated gene expression. In this activity students simulated RNA polymerase to copying the DNA template producing mRNA. The copied message (mRNA) then moved to the ribosome to be read and translated into a protein. This process is happening in all of our bodies all of the time.
