Fitzroy City Soccer Club 2020 - Call For Junior Players

Fitzroy City Soccer Club is a community club with a relaxed and friendly approach to Junior Soccer. Our clubhouse and grounds are located in Yarra Bend Park, just near Heidelberg Rd.  Vacancies exist in the  Under 11 – Under 15 Boys age groups. In particular Under 13s has a few spots. Be the change: Youth leadership program

Young Initiators is an interactive and experiential two-day program designed to spark positive change in the community through the exploration of values, leadership, diversity, community and active citizenship. Young people aged 12 – 25 from all backgrounds are invited to participate, so that they can build connections and learn about the experiences/perspectives of other young people.

This particular session is aimed specifically at young women/people who identify as female.

The program is being held on March 14th – 15th at Fleming Park Hall in Brunswick from 10am – 4pm each day. It is free to attend and all food and drink is provided throughout the two days.

Maths and Science tutoring available

Year 7 to Year 10 Maths, Chemistry and Physics and Year 11 Maths Methods tuition provided by experienced professional engineer and parent of current NHS student. $40 per hour individual sessions and $30 per hour per person for group sessions for friends who are studying the same subject. Prices negotiable. First lesson is half price. I have a valid Working with Children card and am available weekdays and weekends.

Come and play at Fawkner Netball Club

Fawkner Netball Club is a newly established and inclusive netball club looking for boys and girls turning 10, 11, 12 or 13 this year to play in their 11s and 13’s teams. 

We offer training once a week on Wednesday nights 5-6.30pm at our brand new courts located at 28 Tyrrell Crescent, Fawkner. 

Teams play on Saturday mornings at 9.20am (11’s) or 10.10am (13’s) at Darebin Sports Stadium, 857 Plenty Rd, Reservoir.

No prior experience or knowledge is necessary.  Our friendly and enthusiastic coaches will teach your child everything they need to know. 

Fawkner Netball Club also offers NetSetGo (5-7yo), teams in all junior age groups, 20&U (mixed) and women’s social netball.  Training occurs throughout the week for juniors and seniors.
