Ride2School 2021

Thank you to our school community for riding your bikes and scooters to school on Friday to support our annual Ride2School Day.  Each year we encourage our families to ride, scoot or walk to school to reduce our environmental footprint and reduce traffic congestion around our school and Ride2School Day is a celebration of these efforts.

Ngoon godgin to Jo B for organising riding activities during the day for our Years 1- 6, we all had a great time riding around our school grounds and Henderson Park.

We are currently working on two projects with the Darebin Council and Aviva.   The first is called Stories of Us and will be a short documentary about Nanggit Balit our student leadership in the garden. It will have students talking about how they wanted to create a student leadership group to help our environment.  The second project is Henderson Park Vegetation Improvements, where our students with Aviva will help plant out Henderson Park with native plants during our Heal Country units in Term 2 and Term 3.   We are excited about both these projects and thank Aviva for all her extra work with Natalie, Lee and Kristie from Darebin Council.
