Annual Quran

Competition Awards Night

On Friday, 30th May, the Islamic College of Melbourne held its Annual Quran Competition Awards Night, a special evening to honour our students’ dedication to the Noble Quran.

The night was spiritually uplifting, featuring beautiful nasheeds, a heartfelt adhan recitation, and an inspiring khutba. Each of these moments highlighted the deep reverence our students have for the words of Allah (SWT).

A standout moment of the evening was the recognition of four students who completed their memorisation of the Quran, earning the prestigious title of Hafiz.

This achievement is not only a profound milestone but also brings immense reward in this life and the Hereafter. We pray that Allah (SWT) makes the Quran a lifelong companion for these students, a source of guidance, light, and healing in all they do. Ameen.

I would like to sincerely thank all the staff who worked so hard to prepare and deliver such a meaningful event. I also express my gratitude to our parents for their constant support, encouragement, and for partnering with us in nurturing a love for the Quran in their children. May Allah (SWT) reward you all abundantly.
