Girton Basketball Awards
Girton Basketball Club has awarded MVPs and Coaches Awards for the Winter Season 2022. It was a successful season, which saw 14 teams compete in Finals and four teams successful in their respective Grand Finals. Congratulations to Girton Strikers U14B Division 2, Topaz U16B Division 3, Opals U18G Division 2 and Kings U18B Division 4.
On behalf of the Girton Basketball Club, Mrs Tunzi and I would like to thank the families involved for your ongoing support of our basketball program, including your commitment to scoring each week, ensuring your children attend training and games, some late nights at the stadium and at times, stepping in to coach when one of our teachers are unavailable.
To our teaching staff, we thank you for your commitment, time and energy to manage and coach our students, but far beyond that, we are grateful for you teaching our students humility, fairness, sportsmanship, resilience and determination through the game of basketball. All of which are qualities that contribute to the outstanding culture of our club.

Girton Basketball 10-Years Service
Girton Basketball club this year presented 10-year service to four students.
Phoebe Radford, Phoebe Finlay, Zoe Turpie, and Mia Burge have been playing basketball at Girton since U10’s age group.
