Design and Technology Electronics

Students in Mr Smith’s Year 9 Design and Technology class got into the spirit of Christmas this week when they applied their learnt knowledge to construct a Christmas Star. The circuit flashes multicolour LEDs in a twinkling pattern that is sure to be a favourite addition to the family Christmas tree for years to come.

The Design and Technology Electronics elective runs throughout Year 9 and next year, the students will learn about electronic components and how to design and program electronic circuits in a range of different projects.
