Year 7 Boys Interschool Cricket
Our Year 7 boys played their first ever high school sport competition in the Super 8’s cricket event on Tuesday 22nd February 2022. Across the day we finished fifth (out of six teams), winning one game out of four. After their final game, the boys voted on each other for the best batter, bowler and fielder and decided on the following:
Best Batter – Zave Anderson. He was a standout with some long hitting to deep mid-wicket for numerous sixes!
Best bowler – Billy Collins. Billy was the most consistent with his line and length, with very economical figures.
Best fielder – William Watson. William took some really good catches and was the best talker in the team.
Best in the McDonald’s playground afterwards – Lucas Marcon. Best to ask the boys why he was awarded this! 😊
Also a big thank you to the Year 11 students, Oscar Grenfell and Corey Agnew for their help umpiring and scoring.

Year 11 and 12 Volleyball
On Wednesday February 23, our senior volleyball students travelled to the Dandenong Basketball stadium to participate in the district tournament. Unfortunately, neither team came home with the trophy, however, the accompanying staff all commented on their behaviour and sportsmanship and said they had great fun with the students. Thank you to Ms Plunkett, Kerry and Nat for spending your day with our students.
