Student Leadership

Introducing our 2022 House Captains. Our senior school students have made an excellent start to the year, with each of our house captains positively reflecting the values or our school.

Maroondah – Sienna Muke and Tamara Commans

Sienna Muke and Tamara Commans make up the leadership for Maroondah and have started the year in fine form. Maroondah has started the year strongly with a win at the swimming sports, coming as no surprise with the quality of leaders at the helm. Tamara has been recognized for her strong leadership style, whilst Sienna brings a no-fuss and honest approach to the position. You can trust that Maroondah will be a threat in the months to come, with these two showing great synergy to date.

Riddell – Kirstie Whelan and Sienna Rose Skeen

Good friends Kirstie and Sienna lead a highly capable Riddell. Not ones for the spotlight, Sienna and Kirstie do more of their leading through their enthusiasm and humility. Both are very approachable and are positive role models for their peers. You wouldn’t want to dismiss Riddell from doing some damage throughout 2022.

Dennis – Melissa Ross and Sienna Crossman

Melissa  and Sienna make up the only Year 11 and Year 12 partnership of the house captains. Melissa has demonstrated, through our VCAL program, a well-rounded assortment of leadership skills, whilst Sienna came with an overwhelming endorsement from her Year 12 peers. Both are highly regarded within our community and with them as leaders, Dennis could be the surprise packet of 2022.

Yarra – Lily Clements and Issy Smith

Yarra will be disappointed they didn’t take home the chocolates at the swimming carnival, but you couldn’t ask for better leadership to help them rebound. Issy and Lily are both known for their competitiveness and wouldn’t be satisfied with Maroondah taking an early lead. Both girls have a fantastic approach to life at Healesville High School and come highly regarded from their peers and staff alike.
