Year 9 Netball

On Tuesday, two teams of Middle School girls travelled to Kilsyth to play Intermediate Netball. Unfortunately, as both teams were playing at the same time for each round robin match, we didn't get to cheer each other on, but we were able to check in with each other in between rounds. 

Team A lost their first match to Monbulk, the eventual winners of the event, by 15 points but then went on to win their next two matches decisively to earn a place in the Bronze final. Unfortunately, a very competitive Healesville took out the match to leave us with a 4th placed finish. 

Team B also won two of their three matches to make their bronze place play off. They thrashed their opponents to take out third place in the B grade round. 

Well done girls! Katrina and I had a great day out with you all - it was an absolute pleasure!!
