Junior School Students of  the Week

Student of theWweek is awarded to a student in Year 7 and 8 who make a consistent effort in the classroom with a focus on the College’s Positive Learning Behaviours.

Year 7 – Week 5 – Rhys Nickell 7C

Rhys has worked with enthusiasm and diligence to persevere with some very complex mathematics problems. He has asked some thoughtful questions, sought feedback and has shared his understanding with his friends.

Year 8 - Week 5 – Jayden Kruzicevic-King 8E

Jayden is a model student for his peers in 8E. He is respectful and demonstrates maturity beyond his years, as demonstrated by the sincere approach to building relationships with teachers. As an intrinsically motivated individual, Jayden works to his full capacity every single lesson. He is curious and interrogates his learning and the information his teachers share. I believe Jayden would make the perfect recipient of the first Junior School Student of the Week Award.

Year 7 – Week 6 – Erika Brigham 7D

Erika is an incredibly hard working student who shows persistence and resilience in her learning. She is always focused and tries her best in class. She is supportive of all members in the classroom and is always motivated to do her best.

Year 8 – Week 6 – Joseph Stonyer 8E

Joseph consistently makes excellent, thoughtful contributions to all discussions and is polite and conscientious in sessions. He has demonstrated perseverance and resilience in his learning and consistently tries his best. He is a pleasure to teach.
