Senior School Update
It has been a busy term so far, and with the semester change-over occurring on 15th June, there’s a bit to do still! We are currently collecting data on students who owe coursework. Teachers should be putting up Chronicles and calling home in regards to any student at risk of receiving an N for a subject. The Senior Sub-school will also be supporting students to get up to date with coursework prior to the semester change-over.
Yr 11 VCE students are also about to enter the mid-year exam period (4th June – 11th June). Each subject will make a study guide available to help support students in their preparation. Exam times are viewable on Compass. There will be no Yr 11 VCE classes during this time. If any Yr 11 VCE student is doing a Yr 12 subject, these classes will still run during the exam period and students are expected to attend unless they have an exam at the same time. If students have an exam in the morning and then at the end of the day, they must remain at school and work in the Library in between exams. Otherwise, students are only required to be at school when they have an exam. Students must wear full school uniform during the exam period.
VCAL
The Intermediate VCAL group will be undertaking the project of painting all the students’ toilet doors. The aim of this project is to bring some colour to the inside of the cubicles and to provide important contact numbers regarding mental wellbeing support. We are putting a call out to our community for resources. If you have any spare paint, drop sheets or paint brushes/rollers that you are happy to donate, please feel free to drop into the front office over the next week.
Thanks in advance.
