Athletics Carnival

The school athletic carnival is an annual event that brings the school community together.   

This year the event was held at the Mooney Valley Athletics Centre (Aberfeldie) and the day was filled with friendly House competition and cheering. We were lucky with the weather with skies staying relatively clear - and the carnival ran without a hitch. 

All students at BSC are assigned to one of the school’s Houses – Abyad (white), Caagar (green), Lan Se (blue) or Oro (gold).  The Houses unleashed their competitive spirit as athletes from all year levels showcased their skills in a variety of track and field events. From sprinting to long jump, shot put to high jump, the carnival offered a platform for students to strive for personal and team victories.  

We had a great level of student participation on the day and I congratulate all those involved.  Special congratulations to Lan Se who won the right to ring the Brunswick Bell!
