Term 3 has seen a large new notice board installed on the wall in Student Services.  The aim of this is to create a colourful pop of interest for Students, Parents and Staff alike, relating to various events the College recognises throughout the year, in addition to celebrating all that we have to be grateful for in our lives.

The first cap off the rank for Term 3 has been celebrating NAIDOC Week, in which a random selection of over 100 students were asked the following questions:

What does NAIDOC Week mean to me?

How can we keep the spirit of NAIDOC Week alive for the other 52 weeks of the year?

Which First Nations artist, musician, leader or athlete inspires me the most, and why?

What is one everyday action we can take to show respect for our First Nation people and history?

We had a wonderful response from students with their written responses being both thoughtful and considered -  Something for the College as a whole to be proud of.

These cards will be on display in Student Services through until the end of Week 3, so if you are passing by, be sure to pop in to have a look!
