A Global Welcome to Our New International Students!

Term 3 has brought an exciting news to our school community, and we are delighted to welcome our newest students from Germany, China and Poland.

This term, we have welcomed a large group of Study Abroad students from Germany, along with three international students from China and Poland. Their arrival brings great opportunities for cultural exchange, new friendships, and learning about different countries and cultures.

We are pleased to share that our new students have settled in well and are already enjoying their time at school. Many have made new friends, joined classroom activities, participated in the school band, and are exploring extracurricular both in and outside of school. Whether staying with homestay families or relatives, it has been wonderful to see them embracing new experiences and settling into life in Australia.

Our international students have stepped out of their comfort zone to experience a new culture, language, education system and of course, Melbourne’s unpredictable weather!

Did you know?

Germany - There are more than 1,500 different varieties of sausages and over 300 types of bread in Germany!

China - China has the world's largest population and one of the oldest continuous civilizations, with a history spanning thousands of years.

Poland - Poland is home to 17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Mrs Sharon Koning for her hard work throughout the school holidays in preparing for our students' arrival. Thank you to also to  Ms Meimei Ren who will be stepping into the Homestay Coordinator role for the rest of the year.

We would also like to sincerely thank our teachers, relatives, homestay families, and the wider school community for their continued care, support, and encouragement. Your kindness helps our international students feel welcome and supported while studying at Frankston High School.

Please join us in giving our newest students a very warm welcome. We wish them a rewarding, memorable, and enjoyable experience at our school.

Welcome, Willkommen, 欢迎 (Huānyíng), and Witamy!
