It would be fantastic to see you there supporting all of our wonderful students and staff.

NAIDOC Week

We celebrated NAIDOC Week last week with some wonderful activities and events. These included Sub School Assemblies with educators from Nairm Marr Djambana. We had also had a number of educational activities run by our staff during our NAIDOC Week celebrations.

Thank you very much to Ms Paige Jessulat, Mr James Cameron, Ms Michelle Snooks, Ms Becki Hyde, Mr Brendan Murray and Ms Leah Hannas for making these events possible.

International Students

We welcomed a number of new International Students to Frankston High School to commence this term. These students took part in an orientation program which involved meeting their teachers, learning about our school, choosing their elective subjects, followed by a tour of our school.

Thank you to Ms Kelly Lin, Ms Meimei Ren and Mrs Sharon Koning for all of their hard work in coordinating this day, supported by Mr Cam Heyes and Ms Caitlin Halliwell.

Careers Education

Term 3 is a big term for Careers Education and Course Selection!

Last term we commenced our Year 9 Morrisby interviews, and last week we ran a Course Selection session for our Year 8 students. On Thursday 16 July, we held our Subject and Tertiary Expo for our current Year 9 and 10 students, followed by a session for families and their children. We are excited to continue to grow the profile and importance of careers ensuring students are empowered to make well informed subject and course selections.

Thank you to Mrs Carla Caminiti and Mr Joel McMahon for their leadership of careers this year, supported by Ms Michaeli Lyon, Ms Teena Borshoff, Ms Rhonda Gifford, and Ms Tiffany Greenhill. Thank you also to Ms Julia Cafiso, our Head of Curriculum, and all of our staff who provided valuable information and resources to students and their families.
