The 2027 planning for subject selection is well underway.
Year 10 Work Experience - planning for 2027
Its never too early to start planning for your upcoming Work Experience in 2027. As shared earlier in the term, work experience will be held from 10th - 14th May 2027.
Students are strongly encouraged to consider exploring and contacting desired placement options now. Work experience is a great chance to try out a job you’re interested in, learn new skills, build confidence, and add something impressive to your resume. Start by talking to your family, friends, or teachers about what kind of jobs you might like.
Arriving at school on time is important!
Arriving at school on time each day is an important part of supporting your child’s learning, wellbeing and overall success at school. Being punctual ensures students are present for Form Group, receive important daily information, are prepared for their classes and can begin learning from the start of the lesson. Regular lateness can result in missed learning, disrupted routines and students feeling less connected to their peers and teachers.
We ask parents and carers to support their child in developing the habit of arriving at school on time, recognising that every minute of the school day contributes to their learning, engagement and success.
Think You Know Incursion
Year 9 and 10 students were given information from Victoria Police about ways to remain safe online and reminders regarding the use of sharing images and other personal details and information whilst online. We hope these helpful tips can be used to keep our students safe online.
We encourage our parents to consider attending our informative session with well known Susan McLean on Wednesday 28 October. Susan has appeared on "Sunrise" and many other media channels, reinforcing the messages of online safety. Ticket sales and further details are contained in this newsletter.
