Welcome 2025 Preps! 

We would like to congratulate the Prep students on a wonderful start to the school year! 

We are so proud of the confidence they are displaying by coming into the Prep Learning Centre independently and joining their teachers and classmates. 

It has been delightful to see the children play happily, form new friendships and start to settle into the daily routines of school life.   

Below are some photos of the students enjoying developmental play in their classroom. So many big smiles and happy faces!  Although sometimes being a little person (or even a big person) can be exhausting!! 

We are looking forward to sharing an exciting Prep year with your children. 

School Tour  

In the first few weeks of school, our Prep students enjoyed a tour of their new school, guided by their class teacher. This special experience helped the children become familiar with the various areas of the school, making them feel more confident and settled in their new surroundings.

The Preps were thrilled to explore the school, and for some, the highlight of the day was seeing their older siblings in their classrooms. 

They also had the chance to meet the friendly office staff, enjoy a cozy break on the couch in Mrs. Duffy’s office, and visit the staffroom, where teachers gather for lunch and meetings. 

A key part of the tour was learning how to read and use maps. The students did an excellent job locating and identifying different areas of the school, strengthening their sense of direction and connection to their new school environment. 

It was a fun and informative experience that helped our new students feel right at home!
