2026 Swimming Carnival

The term was filled with Swimming accomplishments for our students. We had our local Swimming Carnival, our Division Swimming Competition and the Regional Swimming Competition. Blown away by all the participation and medals grabbed by our students.

By the time we reached the Regional Swimming Competition we had seven students across different year levels compete. Nayo N in Year 11 smashed it out of the park with 2x third place races, 1x second place race and even a first place race. This results with Nayo heading to the State Swimming Competition in April for the first time ever!

Not only are we super proud of Nayo, but all of our students who participated in the Swimming carnivals this year and represented Cranbourne East Secondary College.

2026 Athletics Day

This year was the first year that we've split our annual Athletics Day Carnival into two different days. Our goal was to allow more time for events, races and activities. By splitting the Junior and Senior cohorts, we definitely achieved this, and we're super proud of all the participation and results from ALL of our students.

Junior Athletics

What a fantastic day on the track and field! Our junior students brought the energy, enthusiasm and house spirit, giving every event their best shot. From sprints to long jump to cheering from the sidelines, it was a day full of determination, teamwork and plenty of smiles. We are so proud of the way our students showed our values — being safe, respectful and responsible — while having fun and supporting one another.

Congratulations to Parkes on being crowned our 2026 Junior Athletics Carnival Champions🏆❤️

Your teamwork, determination and house spirit were on full display all day. A fantastic effort from every student who participated! Well done Parkes🐍‼️

Senior Athletics Day

Senior Athletics Day last week was one for the books! 🏃‍♀️🏆With blue skies overhead and house pride on full display, our seniors brought the energy from start to finish. From our famous inflatable race to the always-entertaining Best Dressed event, creativity and competition went hand in hand.

The Staff vs Students relay had everyone on their feet and this year, the students proudly claimed the win! There was healthy rivalry between houses, incredible costumes, plenty of sausages in bread to keep everyone fuelled, and a photobooth capturing all the fun. With activities happening throughout the day and such a positive atmosphere, it was a fantastic celebration of house spirit, teamwork and senior pride.

Congratulations to Gilmore on being crowned our 2026 Senior Athletics Carnival Champions🏆💚

College Interschool Sport - Term One

Term 1 has been a fantastic start for our interschool sports competitions, with students demonstrating great enthusiasm, teamwork and school spirit across a range of events. Our teams have proudly represented the college, showing determination, resilience and sportsmanship each week. It has been wonderful to see so many students getting involved, supporting one another and embracing the opportunity to compete against other schools.

Beyond the results on the scoreboard, the term has been a huge success in building confidence, strengthening friendships and creating memorable experiences for our students. We are incredibly proud of the effort, commitment and positive attitude shown by all participants, and we look forward to seeing this momentum continue throughout the rest of the year.

A highlight of our Interschool Sports so far has been our Junior boys Volleyball team winning the Volleyball title for two years in a row. They'll be off to the next round of the competition soon. Proud of you boys!
