Alumni Program

2024 was a fabulous year for the alumni program at Cranbourne Secondary College, involving 905 students in different alumni events. 

These alumni sessions allowed students to explore a range of careers and pathways by connecting with former students. 

A total of 42 alumni came back to participate in alumni sessions, including a Year 10 STEM panel, Year 12 Art class, Year 11 VCE-VM Financial Literacy and the Year 10 Speed Careers session.

We’re planning another incredible year of alumni activities to continue to support current students, provide information about career opportunities and inspire students to aim high in their studies and strive for fulfilling careers.  Some of our upcoming events include:  

• A group of Year 11/12 students attending an industry insight event at Slater & Gordon Lawyers to learn about jobs in the legal sector, where one of the panellists is alum, Najd Hussein, a Lawyer from the Class of 2012. 
• On March 7, we are fortunate to have Anjali Thirumalavan, Class of 2012 coming to speak with us and celebrate International Women’s Day. 
• The Year 10 Speed Carers event is scheduled for May 29, featuring a diverse group of alumni from a broad range of careers. Students will learn about real jobs, by speaking to their alumni, who have gone before them at Cranbourne Secondary College.
