Hunter Valley Career Expo 2026
Year 10 students recently attended the Hunter Valley Career Expo 2026, where they had the opportunity to explore a wide range of career and post-school pathway options.
Throughout the day, students engaged with local employers, training organisations, universities, apprenticeship and traineeship providers, and industry representatives. The expo provided valuable insight into future opportunities and helped students begin thinking about the many pathways available after school.
Students were able to:
- Explore a variety of career options and industries
- Speak directly with employers, training providers and industry professionals
- Learn about apprenticeships, traineeships, university and TAFE pathways
- Gain a better understanding of the skills and qualifications required for different careers
Begin planning and researching their future career goals
The expo was a valuable experience for our students and encouraged them to think proactively about their future education, training and employment opportunities.
