Foundation News – End of Semester Update

What a fabulous Semester we have had together! The Foundation students have settled beautifully into school life and routine. It has been such a joy to witness their growth, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning. Some highlights from the term have included learning to read and write, counting past 100, our Fun Run, participating in school Masses and Liturgies, and the exciting Didgeribone incursion, all moments filled with fun and connection. We are looking forward to wrapping this term up with our PJ Party that we are having in Prep on Friday.

Student Reports & Learning Journals Reports were made available to you via PAM last Friday. We hope you’ve had a chance to read through them and celebrate the many achievements with your child. This Wednesday, Learning Journals will be sent home, these are a beautiful showcase of the students’ learning so far and compliment the report to showcase your child’s learning so far. Please take the time to complete the “2 Stars and a Wish” page with your child and return the journals at the beginning of Term 3 so we can continue adding to them.

100 Days of Learning – Save the Date! One of the most exciting days in the Foundation year is coming up! Our 100 Days of Learning celebration will take place on Friday 8th August. Students are invited to come dressed as 100-year-olds as we mark this special milestone with themed activities, learning, and even a special 100 cake!

Library Reminder Please return all library books by this Friday so we can prepare for Term 3 borrowing.

Wishing all our Foundation families a safe and restful holiday break. Don’t forget our early dismissal time of 2.15 on Friday. We can’t wait to see everyone back in Term 3 for more learning and laughter!
