What a busy and exciting term it’s been in PE and Sport at Sacred Heart  

This term our Year 5 and 6 students took part in the Bike Ed program, building confidence and learning essential road safety skills. Across the school, students participated in Cross Country events, showing great effort and determination. We also worked on basketball skills during PE sessions, with a focus on teamwork and fundamentals. 

Next term we look forward to starting our Athletics program and more interschool sport competitions whilst continuing to build fitness and skills across all year levels.

• Wangaratta Winter Sports Day – Wednesday 30th July (Year 5 and 6 students)  
• State Cross Country –Thursday 24th July - Good luck Stevie O  
• Lightning Premiership – Year 5 and 6 students – Friday 22nd August (Week 5)  
• Sacred Heart Athletics Carnival – Friday 12th September
