Grandparents Liturgy

We will celebrate the Feast of Sts Anne and Joachim, Jesus grandparents on Friday June 25th at 9.45 (NB change of time) in the MPB at Sacred Heart College. Everyone is very welcome to join us as we pray, listen and sing about these two special people and our own very special Grandparents and the people who share this role in our lives.

Following the liturgy everyone is welcome to come back to school to spend time in the classrooms to see the children at work and then join us for a morning tea.

First Reconciliation

The preparation for this Sacrament will begin early next term and all parents of Year 3 students will receive an email this week asking them to enrol their child for this sacrament. If your child is in year 4 or above and is baptised Catholic but has not made their sacraments and you would like them to start their sacramental journey please let me know ASAP.

Father Michael’s Jubilee Mass

All year 6 students will attend Mass tomorrow at 11am for the Jubilee celebrations for Fr Michael. Bishop Shane and retired bishop, Les Tomlinson will concelebrate Mass along with approx. 30 other priests. As mentioned all Students need to be in full school uniform.

We congratulate Father Michael on this wonderful milestone.

Great job everyone on getting through a very busy term. I hope everyone has a restful and relaxing holiday.
