Ross Wainwright - Cleaning & Schools Officer

STAFF SPOTLIGHT QUESTIONS

1. What school did you go to? 

Huntingdale Technical School, Melbourne, Victoria

2. What was your favourite subject at school?

I loved all sports, mostly Ice Hockey and AFL. I barrack for the best team, Collingwood - Go the Pies. 

I also follow Melbourne Storm in the Rugby.

3. What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I wanted to be a Fireman! I was an active member with the CFA when I was in Melbourne.

4. What is a current school trend that has you absolutely baffled?

Some of the places the students choose to eat! But to be honest I don't pay attention to the trends, I just get my job done.

5. What would students be surprised to find out about you?

I don't think anything would surprise me. The kids down at the Sports Hall, all know me pretty well. Oh, hang on, they would be surprised if I wasn't here!

6. What are your must-have smartphone apps?

Snap Chat, Instagram and Spotify, so I can listen to music. My favourite band would be the Dixie Chicks.

7. If you could make up a new national holiday that everyone must celebrate, what would it be?

I don’t know – I don't get days off!

8. What is your dream vacation?

See above I don’t get days off!!

No, probably a resort holiday in Fiji or another island.

9. What are three things you can’t live without?

Chocolate, Milk and a good quality piece of Steak.
