Specialist Staff

At The Gap State High School, the success of our students and teaching staff is supported by a dedicated and often unseen team working tirelessly behind the scenes. 

Our school community extends far beyond the classroom, and we are proud to recognise the outstanding contributions of our specialist staff. Our success is made possible by this dedicated team of specialist support staff.

There are Teacher Aides who support student and classroom activities, Science Technicians who prepare resources for our science studies, International Student Coordinators who work with our international students, Coordinators working with teachers in the Leadership Training Centre and Administrative staff working in the main school office.

Often the first point of contact for our community is our main reception. Ann and Nat warmly welcome visitors, assist students, families and staff with professionalism and care. 

They manage student check-ins, ensure visitor compliance and respond to daily enquiries with ease and efficiency.

Our specialist staff’s knowledge of our large school, their calm approach, especially during busy or unexpected situations, make them an invaluable part of our community.

Ann, Nat and the entire Specialist Staff Team are such an integral part of The Gap State High School community.
