🌟 Celebrating Ebony’s Spirit of Anzac Achievement

Congratulations to Ebony Peet (10A), recipient of the 2026 Premier’s Spirit of Anzac Prize! 

Ebony is one of just 12 students from across Victoria selected to participate in a fully funded nine-day study tour of Vietnam.

During the tour, Ebony and the other selected students will visit significant historical and cultural sites and learn more about the impact and legacy of the Vietnam War. 

The Spirit of Anzac Prize provides a unique opportunity for young Victorians to deepen their understanding of Australia’s wartime history, the Anzac spirit, service, resilience and reconciliation. 🌿

Congratulations, Ebony, on this outstanding achievement! We are incredibly proud of you and look forward to hearing about your experiences and learning from your time in Vietnam. 🌟

🏆 Ethan’s Skills Take Him to the Nationals!

We are incredibly proud of Ethan Centracchio (12D), who recently competed in and won the WorldSkills Australia VET Plumbing Regional Competition! 🌟

Ethan is currently completing his VET Certificate II in Plumbing at Swinburne University of Technology, where he is developing valuable practical skills and industry knowledge.

The competition was a true test of precision, skill and concentration. Over five hours, Ethan was required to interpret a plumbing set-out, accurately measure and cut lengths of pipe, and construct the set-out to exact specifications. With measurements needing to be accurate to the millimetre, there was very little room for error.

Ethan’s completed work was assessed against strict industry standards for accuracy, workmanship and practical competence.

By winning the competition, Ethan has earned the opportunity to compete at the WorldSkills Australia National Championships in Adelaide next year, where he will compete against other talented plumbing students and apprentices from across Australia.

🏁Jaylen’s Speedway Success

A huge congratulations to Jaylen Knight (8A) who has been named Speedway Sedans Victoria Ambassador of the Year for the SSA Juniors 1200 Division!

This is a fantastic achievement and recognition of Jaylen’s leadership, sportsmanship and dedication both on and off the track.

Well done, Jaylen! 🏆 We are incredibly proud of your achievement!

🏛️ Hermione’s Voice Earns Statewide Recognition

Congratulations to Hermione Crocker (8A), who has received a Highly Commended Award in the Victorian Parliament Prize competition! 👏

The annual competition invites Victorian school students to consider what they would say in Parliament if they were an MP. Students submit a 90-second video of their own Member’s Statement, highlighting an issue that is important to them and their community.

This year, the competition received 1,180 entries from more than 180 schools, with Hermione selected as one of the top 12 finalists.

Hermione’s powerful and thoughtful Member’s Statement on domestic violence captured the attention of the judges and demonstrated her ability to use her voice to raise awareness of an important issue.
