From the Principal's desk

Today, as we celebrate our teachers, we pray together God of Love, Thank you for every teacher who notices a child’s special gift. Thank you for teachers who are listeners and gentle guides. Thank you for teachers who expect much and love enough to demand more. Thank you for the special teacher each one of us remembers.
Today marks World Teachers Day where we stop in gratitude to thank the teachers who work daily to improve the outcomes of students around the world. Here at St Agatha's we know they have students in their focus when we hear their conversations about successes and where they as teachers are feeling stuck. We know when they meet together to plan for and support students and when we see their smiles when students arrive at school. We are blessed with amazing teachers at our school.
School organisation information
As we prepare for 2027 with a reduced budget due to the likely wage increases coming through the soon to be signed Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) schools have been asked to review class sizes, class numbers and leadership structures in order to make the budget balance with the available funding for 2027 and 2028.
Therefore for 2027 we will have 21 classes (a reduction of 2 classes) and class sizes will move up slightly.
