International Student Program

Our International Student Program continues to provide students from around the world with the opportunity to experience high-quality education in a supportive, inclusive and welcoming environment. Our international students make a valuable contribution to our school community, sharing their cultures, experiences and perspectives while building friendships and developing their learning skills.
This week, we recognised students from our International Student Program who received awards for outstanding attendance, punctuality and effort. Students invited close friends to attend the ceremony and enjoyed a special lunch together afterwards to celebrate their achievements.
The presence of their close friends made the moment even more meaningful. These friendships play a vital role in supporting our International Students who reply on peer support, guidance and connection while adjusting to life far away from home. Meanwhile our local students have opportunities to develop sympathy, show care, help their international peers settle into school life, navigate their studies in Australia while also learning from their friends’ resilience and diverse perspectives.
Throughout their time at the College, our International Students enjoy a range of exciting excursions, exploring some of Victoria’s most iconic destinations and experiences. Students have visited Melbourne’s city centre and the Melbourne Skydeck, taking in spectacular views of the city skyline, while also exploring many of Melbourne’s famous landmarks and attractions.
Students have also travelled to Phillip Island and Healesville Sanctuary, where they have had the opportunity to get up close to our unique native wildlife and experience the natural beauty of Victoria. We hope these memorable experiences and opportunities to explore Australian culture will stay with our students long after they return home to their countries.
We congratulate all of our International Students on their achievements and thank them for the positive contribution they make to our College community each day.
An International Student's experience
"Coming to Australia as an international student was one of the biggest challenges and changes in my life, and I expected the transition to be lonely, difficult, and overwhelming. However, the welcoming and supportive environment at school, especially the friends and teachers around me, made settling in so much easier. I’ve had the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds, learn about new cultures, and take part in unique school activities that made my experience even more meaningful. The school became more than just a place to study, it became a place where I felt accepted, supported, and truly part of a community."
