Mary Poppins Jr. Rehearsals underway
Rehearsals for our 2026 College Production of Mary Poppins Jr. have been underway since the beginning of term, and it has been fantastic to see the enthusiasm and dedication of our students as they work hard to bring this much-loved production to life.
With so much progress already being made, excitement is continuing to build ahead of the performances in August. We look forward to seeing all of the hard work come together on stage and sharing this special production with our school community.
Here is a sneak peek at our rehearsals:
Performing Arts Showcases
Our talented Performing Arts students recently took to the stage for two fantastic showcase evenings, with the Year 10 Performing Arts Showcase held on Friday, the 22nd of May and the Year 9 Performing Arts Showcase held on Monday, the 25th of May. Both evenings provided students with the exciting opportunity to perform in front of a live audience and celebrate the hard work and creativity they have developed throughout the semester.
Our Drama students captivated audiences with engaging class performances, demonstrating confidence, collaboration and strong stage presence, while our Music students impressed with a range of polished and entertaining performances that highlighted their skill and passion for music. It was wonderful to see so many students embrace the opportunity to perform and share their talents with the school community.
We congratulate all students involved for their outstanding efforts and thank Ms Lentini, Ms Hawking and our Instrumental Music teachers, for their support and organisation in making both showcases such memorable evenings.

Interested in joining the magic behind the scenes?
Students interested in being part of this year’s College Production Crew for Mary Poppins Jr. will have the opportunity to officially sign up late in Term 2.
The production crew plays a vital role in bringing the show to life, working behind the scenes to ensure every performance runs smoothly. Available roles include lighting, sound, stage hands, props, costume and media.
Being part of the crew is a fantastic way to experience the excitement of a live performance from a different perspective and help create the magic that audiences see on stage.
Keep an eye out for sign-up information in late Term 2 if you would like to get involved.
