OUT & ABOUT

Melbourne Midsumma Pride March 2026
A sincere thank you to Mr Jarryd Brand (Wellbeing Counselor) and Ms Erin Gooding (Wellbeing Program Coordinator) for coordinating Frankston High School’s participation in the Melbourne Pride March on Sunday, 1 February 2026. This special event gave staff the opportunity to join Rainbow Alliance students in visibly supporting our LGBTQIA+ community, celebrating diversity, inclusion, and belonging in a meaningful and public way.
Rainbow Alliance is our school’s supportive program for students who identify as LGBTQIA+, as well as their allies. The program provides a safe space where students can connect, share experiences, build confidence, and access guidance and advocacy from staff. Participation in events like the Pride March is just one of the ways Rainbow Alliance promotes visibility, acceptance, and positive representation in the school and wider community.
We also extend our gratitude to all staff who attended, your presence sent a powerful message of care, solidarity, and support. This collective effort reflects Frankston High School’s ongoing commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students.
