Our Walk to Woodlands Park!

Foundation students have been learning about living things as part of our Unit of Inquiry. On Friday 7th August, we took our learning beyond the classroom and into the real world with an excursion to Woodlands Park!

After a quick Brain Food break, students set off on a scavenger hunt, searching for a variety of plants and other living things in and around the park. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to put their learning into practice and observe living things in their natural environment.

The Foundation team were incredibly proud of how safe, kind and respectful our students were throughout the excursion. What a wonderful day of learning and exploring!
