School Captains' Report

Wominjeka everyone, and welcome to our third newsletter for Term Three. We hope everyone had a great two weeks at school. Here are a few highlights from the past two weeks.

Firstly, we had the District Athletics team compete against other schools on Tuesday. It was amazing to see everyone cheering on their peers and their energy throughout the whole day. Everyone tried their best and did an amazing job. Well done to all of those competitors who made it to the next level. Good luck, we’re all rooting for you!

Recently our school basketball team has competed in their Senior Hoop Time competition against other schools. Both the girls and boys teams did amazing! We would also like to say a huge thank you to our coaches, Mrs Watson and Ms Cassie for coaching and supporting us to make us try our best.

The Year Fives and Sixes had a sausage sizzle on Friday to hand in a vote (not a real vote) on democracy to help educate the students about the ins and outs of Australian democracy. The sausage sizzle was great and we're sure everyone enjoyed their sausage and had a great time.
