Aboriginal Dot Art

Following last week, the G3/4 international students continued showing interest in Aboriginal dot art and created their own pieces. Among them, Leo's "Nothingness" piece was exceptional.

Excursion to Tunstall Square

This Tuesday, all eight remaining international students went on a short excursion to Tunstall Square on foot. There, they explored some shops, including a supermarket and a florist.

Some students bought snacks and learned how to use the self-checkout from the staff. They also examined the cheese and dairy section, which is quite different from what they are used to in China.

The students had a chance to get a closer look at the everyday life of local people, followed by lunch at Mano’s. They enjoyed hamburgers and chicken nuggets with chips before heading back to school in the afternoon. They all said, 'It's so yummy,' and some mentioned that they wanted to come back with their parent(s).

All the international students enjoyed this special day out and had a very memorable experience at Donvale.
