News from School Council

Hi DPS Families,

School council would love to draw your attention to a few opportunities for getting involved and helping out the school community in the next few weeks. This term has had many requests for parent helpers, ¾ Camp, Athletics Day, Father’s Day Stall and Breakfast, Canteen and more! We greatly appreciate the help we get from you all, our school couldn’t operate these events without all our amazing volunteers, so thank you!

Working Bee- Friday 13th September 3:30pm onwards *Everyone welcome, no parent helper course requirement.

Come and have some fun helping freshen up the Junior School passive area. No particular skills required and the kids can stay and have a play. Bonus incentive- come along and go into the draw for a Bunnings voucher, add your name to the sign-up sheet for an extra entry!

Art Show Setup- Tuesday 3rd September, times are flexible *Everyone welcome, no parent helper course requirement.

Our amazing art teacher Deb would love some help setting up your children’s art for the art show. This is a lot of art for one person to set up so the more help the better. Please add your name to the list on the sign up sheet.

Lastly we have our next School Council meeting in the last week of term. If you have anything you’d like raised at this or future meetings please reach out to any of the school councillors, Mrs Vesdrevanis or Mrs Rassias.
