Peer Mediation

Peer Mediation is students helping other students. Our Grade 5 Peer Mediator team work each lunchtime to provide peer support to students who seek their assistance. Peer mediators can be found in the Friendship area near the Foundation classrooms or roaming the playground in their bright fluro vests. They have received training to help them talk through a variety of social and friendship issues faced by students and empower the students themselves to find a shared solution. This is one of our programs designed to support student wellbeing here at BPS.
