The Victor Chang School Science Award

The Victor Chang School Science Awards were established to celebrate young, gifted students excelling in science, honouring Dr Victor Chang's legacy in fostering education.

This is a prestigious award for budding scientist for their tenacity and commitment to science. Science staff encourages students to embrace science and understand how important STEM skills are in critical thinking, problem-solving and creativity. We are so excited to announce the award recipient for The Victor Chang School Science Award.

Aidah Alhamwi of Year 11 received "The Victor Chang School Science Award" in Term 3 at ANSTO (Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation). Aidah's outstanding effort in science subjects deserved this recognition and her proud family was beside her to witness this moment. This is such a proud moment for our school.

Congratulations Aidah Alhamwi!
