Year Adviser Updates

Years 10, 11 and 12

Year 12 Farewell

Dear Parents, Year 12 students and staff,

As we approach the end of term, we are excited to celebrate the achievements of our Year 12 students. We cannot believe how quickly 6 years has passed. In the blink of an eye, our Year 12s graduated at the end of Term 3. It was a momentous and proud occasion to watch our Year 12s graduate. They have left an indelible mark on our school, both academically and through their contributions to extracurricular activities, community service and leadership.

We have watched our Year 12s grow and evolve into the independent and responsible individuals they are today. They would not have been able to go through their journey without the support and guidance of their teachers, families, and friends which we know that they will forever be thankful for.

As year advisers for Year 12, we have had the privilege of sharing their journey through high school, filled with challenges, triumphs and unforgettable moments. These have shaped them and prepared them for the world beyond the walls of James Busby High School.

Beyond academics, Year 12 has also been a time of personal growth and self-discovery. They have worked hard throughout the year in preparation for their HSC exam. The end of HSC will be a grand celebration for them and a time to look forward to their future.

To our Year 12 students,

Thank you for the beautiful memories you allowed us to share with you for the past 6 years. We can never forget your transition into Year 7 and into your senior years. You showed maturity and responsibility as young adults in your senior years by designing your own jacket, your yearbook and fundraising for your formal.

Despite all the obstacles you faced along the way in high school, you have shown resilience, adaptability and an unwavering commitment towards each other and your school. We are proud to say that the skills you have learnt throughout high school will serve you well in your future endeavours.

Be kind, be courageous and always be the best version of yourselves. We cannot wait to see the incredible things you will achieve in the future, and we look forward to seeing all of you once again at the Year 12 formal.

Remember that you will always be a part of the James Busby High School family and our doors will always be open to you whenever you wish to visit.

Thank you for being such a wonderful year group.

With best wishes,

Ms Teresa and Mr Khan
