TODA Online Exchange

Before the COVID pandemic, Liverpool’s sister city of TODA would send students to visit JBHS and we were even lucky enough to visit Japan in 2019. Since then, we have had to make do with participating in an online exchange with the Japanese students. This year, in July, students from the Year 12 Japanese Beginners class and 7A shared information over ZOOM about themselves in Japanese and broke off into small groups to complete question sheets about the students in the Japanese groups.

It was an opportunity for our students to showcase their Japanese speaking skills and to meet new people on the other side of the world. We hope to welcome the staff and students from Japan in person next year.
