Cafe Foods

This term, the Year 9 Café Foods Students worked on a Designing a Dessert project. The students were given the opportunity to select a dessert recipe of their choice that they wanted to produce in class.

The aim is to learn about the design process: this involved investigating, researching,  producing and evaluating their chosen product. The students had to learn how to modify a recipe, complete a food order and create a step-by-step planning process so that they could successfully achieve their desired quality and presentation of their dessert.

Each of the Café Foods Students did a magnificent job in working independently and being prepared to show off their cooking and presentation talents last week.
