Student Captains and Leadership Positions for 2027
Congratulations to our newly appointed 2027 School Captains - Elise Miller and Kaelan Cotte, and House Captains - Mia Fadel, Sasha Curry and Ruby Johnston. We look forward to seeing our student leaders embrace their roles, uphold our RISE values and make a positive contribution to our school community.
Our school captains, as part of their portfolio will head Student Voice Council Sub-Committees.
The bar has been set high as the work accomplished this year was extraordinary and impressive. The Wellbeing Student Voice Council (SVC) Committee, this year, amongst other things, successfully organised Breakfast Club Cereal Wednesdays; Pizza Tuesdays. They also, along with the Teaching + Learning SVC Committee, analysed the school's Attitudes to School Survey (AtoSS) Data and helped coordinate the student focus groups which enabled the leadership team to collaboratively develop an action plan to address areas highlighted as needing refinement.
The SVC House Committee was instrumental in driving the exciting reinvigoration of our HOUSE system which will officially debut in 2027. In addition, this SVC committee facilitated the highly successful Volleyball + Trivia Tournament which involved all Year 7 and Year 8 students.
Positions will soon be advertised for the remaining 2027 student leadership positions. These students will complement and complete the Student Voice Council for 2027.
