Principal's Report

Cinderella
A huge focus for the college over the past 4 weeks has been its production of Cinderella. Students, staff and parents have been working hard to put the final touches, and I am very pleased to say that all of their efforts were soundly rewarded.
I was fortunate enough to see all three performances and was totally in awe of the standard of the show. The performers were amazing and were ably supported by a very committed and slick backstage crew.
I am particularly pleased that the money that we spent on the sound and lighting system provided our students with facilities that enabled them to showcase their talents.
We have revisited the issue of the bottom seating and are in the process of arranging for them to be replaced early 2026.
2025/2026 College Captains
We have started the selection process for the appointment of the 2025/2026 Leadership positions and it will be finalised next term.
The appointed College Captains will undergo an induction process. The process includes an orientation about their roles, responsibilities and how to effectively represent the college. To prepare them for their tenure, they receive training in leadership, communication and teamwork.
They will be officially inducted into their new positions at the 2025 Year 12 Farewell Assembly in NETS Stadium on Friday 17 October.
Year12 Practice Exams
Year 12 Practice Exams will be held at the college during the first week of the holidays from Monday 22 September to Thursday 25 September.
2026 Planning
The VCE students have chosen their subjects, and we will be offering 41 different studies across VCE and Year 10 sudents will be offered 3 fast track studies.
I am also currently working on staffing and class structures for 2026.
I hope you all have a great holiday break, and I look forward to seeing everyone back, bright and refreshed!
