Library

As Term 3 draws to a close we reflect on what a busy term it has been. The Library has been a fun and colourful place of learning and reflection. Our Library staff have been doing lots of learning on the job as we have been learning about all the cool things our new Library Management system can do. We will tell you more about this in Term 4.
Book Week with the theme of “Book an Adventure” was a blast. Ask the preps - they had a guided world tour with stopovers in Germany, Australia, Indonesia and Japan. These places have been experienced by other library visitors too. The primary School dressup parade was a phenomenal success with all students and teachers participating - well done to you all.
Speaking of success, The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge has come to an end for 2025 and these students, our Prep to Year 6’s have devoured 3310 books between them. 89 participating students read or experienced 3310 books. What a fantastic achievement!
The Cinderella musical kept our creativity going as we prepared the horse masks with Hannah and the lanterns for the knights. How great did those horse masks look? Attendees of the musical would have seen the library art works made by our students on display in our window.
We farewelled our class set of computers as their removal has made way for the library space to be booked out as teaching spaces. The teachers are very happy as new projectors and whiteboards have been installed for their use.
Happy holidays to all. VCE students, you might like to take advantage of the resources available to you for revision.
