EHS House News!

What an incredible start to 2025!

Starting off first with the Swimming Carnival - with Razorback dominating the pool. No one could come close to the incredible Razorback, including most of their House Captains making up a huge portion of the points for the day.

Whilst the temperature was HOT, so were the vibes. Some incredible effort with chants were surely heard across the primary school playground. Special mentions go to Kookaburra who were down a House Captain and came second overall in the Chant War.

Best dressed went to Ms Trinh for her red extravaganza! Best dressed House Captains went to Bluetongue. Special mention to the effort by Year 12 House Captains who carried two different outfits for the day.

I am super proud of the team coming together during Roll Call and our Thrive lessons to plan, and seek to build a positive House Culture in the school.

A fantastic effort and congratulations to all the students who have received recognition for their hard work, effort and respectful behaviour - in whom, were recognised at their House Meeting in Week 10. Such recognitions will continue to occur twice a term - with certificates and prizes for those students topping the tally board for their House and Year Group.

We are excited to continue to build on House Games that will occur twice a term. This term, Netball and a Paper Plane competition was a big hit! Look out for what is coming in Term 2!

As of Friday, 4th April the current House Tally stands at:

Kookaburra - 3,189

Lyrebird - 3,861

Bluetongue - 4,879

Razorback - 5,411

Merino - 6,141
