2025 Music Captains
Congratulations to Charlotte Swinburne and Robbie Cass who are our 2025 Music Captains. Both Charlotte and Robbie are in our Senior Concert Band and have been learning in band since Year 7. Charlotte and Robbie are also both hard working students completing Year 12 VCE Music class.
Training Band
Our Training Band had their first rehearsal of the year this Wednesday with Mr Peter Sharp. Students have been working hard in their lessons and this week was the first time they all came together as a band. Well done to all.
Mount Gambier Generations in Jazz Lunchtime Concert
Our Senior and Intermediate Stage Bands are heading to South Australia early next term. Thursday students put on a wonderful lunchtime concert on Thursday performing their competition pieces. The standard these groups are playing at is incredible and we are all excited to watch them perform at one of the biggest school music festivals in Australia.
