Year 10 Work Experience

Year 10 students have been submitting their forms in preparation for work experience at the end of Term 2 (30 June to 4 July). The following forms are now due:

  • Arrangement and Travel forms

  • General Safe@Work Certificate

  • Industry specific Safe@Work Certificate.

Construction Induction Training (White Card) is required to be completed before students can undertake work experience in the construction industry eg. carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.  This training will be held at school on Wednesday 28 May and students can indicate their interest via email to workexperience@fhs.vic.edu.au.

Year 9 Morrisby Profiling

Students in Year 9 completed their Morrisby Profiling this week.  This online career education tool helps students make informed choices for senior secondary school and beyond by exploring their strengths, interests and career opportunities.  Next term students will be able to participate in a one-on-one meeting with a Career Consultant which provides the opportunity for the student to understand and use their Morrisby profile.
