Tree Planting

On Tuesday, the whole school participated in a tree planting morning with the Yarra Ranges Council. Here are some fantastic Year 3 recounts of the event!

Endangered Animals

During Inquiry this term, we have been researching endangered animals and the impact the environment has had on their habitat, food sources, and survival. The students have chosen an animal and will present their research at a conference in the last week of term. Time and more information to come!

Picnic Surprise!

In Year 3, the class has shown exceptional teamwork and resilience in all aspects of school. To celebrate, we enjoyed a picnic lunch and expressed our gratitude to everyone in the class. 

Congratulations Olivia!

Congratulations to Olivia, who made her Sacrament of Reconciliation last Wednesday night at St Mary's in Mt Evelyn. It was a pleasure for her teachers to witness this. Well done, Olivia!

Basketball Clinic

This Wednesday, we had our first of three basketball clinics. The students learnt some new skills and had a ball!

Maths Learning 

In Year 3, students have practiced subtracting a constant amount from two-digit numbers using number lines. They also applied their growing regrouping skills while playing a place value game in teams.
