Save a tree, bring back your library books.
It is so exciting choosing and bringing home library books to read and enjoy! Less books need to be printed if we share them, and that means less paper needs to be made and printed. The best part about using the library is that after you have read the story, someone else gets to enjoy it too..... but only if you bring the book back to the library.
Once they are read, library books can sometimes be put aside and then maybe we might forget to bring them back to school. I once found some library books hanging in their library bag at my back door behind my coat. I meant to take them back to the library when I left the house next time, but forgot until I received a late notice. Oops!
This is understandable, so I am planning to send out late notices at the end of term for any overdue library books. However, it would be wonderful if everyone could make a big effort to check if you have any overdue library books laying around waiting to come back to our school library in the next couple of weeks, so that there are less notices to print and send home.
