🌏 Treading Lightly on the Earth 🌿

This term, our students have been exploring the important inquiry topic Treading Lightly on the Earth. We’ve been learning how to care for our planet through the three key actions of reducing, reusing and recycling. Students have discovered practical ways to reduce waste, reuse everyday items creatively, and recycle responsibly to keep rubbish out of landfills.

As part of our learning, we’ve also taken action by planting trees—a simple but powerful way to give back to the Earth. Tree planting not only supports cleaner air and habitats for wildlife, but it’s also a fun and active way for children to make a real difference.

We’re looking forward to sharing our work and discoveries at the upcoming Inquiry Showcase, where students will present their learning journeys and solutions for a more sustainable future. Here are some photos from our tree-planting day,  it was a great success.

Together, we can all take small steps that lead to big changes for our planet. 💚
