Humanities

Term 2 in the junior school is all about Geography!

Year 7 began investigating the relationship between people and water, and were even lucky enough for some hands-on experience while they were camping along the mighty Murray River.

Year 8 students have begun learning about the interconnections between the world’s landscapes and people. Each student has been assigned a famous natural area of the world to research for their assessment task.

Year 9 students are learning about biomes and food security, and are lucky enough to be participating in a three day ‘smart farming’ program with the Yarra Ranges Tech School. Keep your eye out for photos of their progress!

In the senior school students are beginning their second area of study, with many of the Year 11 classes looking forward to some local field trips this term.
