LEOS Club

Leadership, Experience, Opportunity.” That’s what makes a Leo.

The purpose of a Leo Club is to enable young people to build their leadership qualities by participating in social service activities such as: organising community events, fundraising and creating awareness. Members of Leo clubs embody the best qualities of the Lions organization. They are devoted young people who realize the power of action. Together, Leos and Lions form a powerful partnership — one of mutual respect where Lions learn from the innovative insights of Leos, and where Leos gain access to the proven strategies of those who’ve successfully served the world for decades.

Term One saw the meeting of Leos with three Lions members Gary, Lyn and Bryan, where Lions shared contributions that their club had made to the community and encouraged Leos to get active and make an impact. Elections were held for the positions of Club President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.

Members elected the following students:

Summer Kirby – Leo Club President

Tori Winter-Berry – Leo Club Vice President

Zayden Ebdon – Leo Club Secretary

Sam Low – Leo Club Treasurer

Congratulations to all appointees, we look forward to you leading our club.

All students are welcome to attend Leo Club meetings and become a member of the Leo Club. Meetings are advertised on the Compass News Feed and in the homegroups.
